Doc & Cap treatment no. 3: Day 5

All is going fine so far. Alison has responded as well as can be expected to her latest round of chemo.

She is up and about and getting out to the shops and doing things for short spells. She wears out quickly and needs a sleep but at least she has some energy.

Certainly, she is feeling much better than last time when she ended up in hospital.

Happily, there's not much to report on the health front.

As for other matters, Harry enjoyed his birthday and is very happy to be 8 years old (I know it's a cliché, but the time really has gone SO quickly). He had a busy day with swimming, grandparents visiting and then out for dinner. Annelise handled her brother getting most of the attention very well and must be maturing somewhat.

Hi Alison. It's Kim Clarke from Helensburgh. We are all wishing you the best and thinking of you and your family with love. Colleen gave me the blog address and I must say, I'm extremely impressed with Andrew's communication and computer skills! I shall pass on site to some of your school friends who have asked after you. Ta.

Hi
Glad to hear all is quiet on the health front and positive things are happening at your house. Shopping is such good therapy..lol..keep it up Alison!! Just a passing comment..that Goji juice is meant to be good for a pick up and building immune system, may be worth checking out, I don't know alot about it only that it is very high in antioxidents (although I am unaware of what type of things you can have while on chemo??)....Well 'happy birthday' to Harry (even though I have never met him in person only picture format..hehe)..wow he must be old now..8yrs old! Time does go soooo fast after having children....you have to wonder why life went so slow prior to having them...like it took forever to turn 18?? Keep well. Anne
