Ali is home!
The oncologist saw her earlier in the day and took some blood tests. The plan was that if her neutrophil levels were at 1.00 or higher, then she would be able to come home. In the end, the results cam back at 1.03; just good enough to get her out of hospital.
She's still pretty quiet but feeling much better than she was on the weekend.
I'm expecting a few quiet days ahead but it is good to have her home.

mmm I missed all the action after a few days in Sydney - Stevie Wonder was pretty damn good. Ali - glad to hear that by the time I read all this you were back home safe and sound. May you have an uneventful week!!
w00t!! Glad to hear Ali's back home. If she's feeling up to it, she could sit my exam for me on Wednesday... That'd be a fun excursion out of the house!!

Hi, I too was in Sydney for a few days but my trip was for work. Lucky Rachel, Stevie Wonder would have been great!
I last checked the blog on Saturday so I can't believe all of the adventures that have happened in the interim.
So glad that you're back on track Ali. And I promise to check in daily from now on.

Hi guys..Parkes here. Well I am doing my last thing for M&D this year this weekend, I am actually dancing in lingere Al how scarry is that. It's really hot here (crazy weather). Wow..alot has happened since I last check. Glad to hear Ali is in the comforts and quietness (possibly?? has to be better than a hospital!!) of home and starting to feel better. Hope the next few days you recover well. take care Anne
